As Fayette County Public Schools' first new middle school in more than two decades, Mary E. Britton Middle School was designed to support the evolving needs of today's learners while preparing students for tomorrow's opportunities. Located in Lexington, Kentucky, the state-of-the-art facility brings together flexible learning environments, collaborative spaces, and specialized educational programs that foster creativity, exploration, and academic achievement. ID+A partnered on the project to provide furniture procurement and installation services, thoughtfully selecting furnishings that enhance student engagement, support a variety of learning styles, and promote well-being throughout the building. From classrooms and commons areas to shared collaboration spaces, every furnishing element was chosen to create an environment that is adaptable, welcoming, and built for learning. The result is a vibrant educational destination that empowers students, supports educators, and reflects the district's commitment to innovation and excellence.
